Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Massachusetts SLP license, or eligibility for licensure.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or current Clinical Fellow (CFY) status.
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but strong clinical skills in pediatric settings encouraged.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities.
  • Passion for working with diverse student populations and adapting therapy plans to meet individualized needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and implement therapy plans for students with speech, language, or communication disorders.
  • Consult and collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress.
  • Document sessions, maintain accurate records, and adhere to all confidentiality and compliance standards.
  • Deliver both group and individual therapy using evidence-based practices.
  • Participate in school meetings, provide staff training, and contribute positively to the overall learning environment.
