Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working in educational settings, especially with pediatric populations
- Strong collaboration skills for partnering with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments to determine students’ strengths and areas for intervention
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment data
- Collaborate with educators and families on student progress and strategies
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and required documentation
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to overall student success
- Offer consultation and training to support staff regarding communication interventions and classroom strategies
