School Speech Language Pathologist - Lakewood, Washington

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Washington SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Completion of fingerprinting with OSPI (or willingness to complete during onboarding)
- Washington Education Staff Associate (ESA) certification (or in progress prior to starting)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in school settings or working with K-12 student populations strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary school team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic speech and language services to a diverse K-12 caseload, exclusively onsite
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in alignment with district procedures and student needs
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments and document findings
- Work closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to foster student growth
- Maintain detailed and timely records in accordance with school, district, and state standards
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
