What you'll need to succeed in this role:
- Active Colorado SLP license (required)
- Ability to complete district onboarding and credentialing quickly
- Eligible candidates include both SLP-CCC and SLP-CF professionals
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children recommended
- Comfort and compassion working with non-verbal students is a strong plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills, ensuring seamless collaboration with educators and families
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans tailored for PreK students with diverse speech and language needs
- Deliver direct therapy services within the intensive preschool classroom setting
- Collaborate closely with teachers, aides, and multidisciplinary team members to support each student's goals
- Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and required paperwork in accordance with district standards
- Serve as a resource for families, helping to guide intervention strategies and promote continuity across environments
This on-site contract position begins as soon as possible and runs through late May 2027, offering a consistent Monday-Friday schedule (37.5 hours weekly) at a single school. You'll enjoy the chance to make an immediate and lasting impact on students during the foundational years of learning.
