Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Colorado SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience delivering SLP services to school-aged children
- Demonstrated ability to serve at-risk youth and students from diverse academic and economic backgrounds
- Strong skills in conducting evaluations and assessments
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Motivated self-starter, equally effective working on-site or virtually
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct speech-language therapy, both in-person and virtually as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
