Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year candidates (CFY) are also welcome
- Previous experience or interest working with pediatric and school-aged populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing evidence-based interventions
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Document progress, maintain records, and prepare required reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development programs
- Offer consultative support to staff and families on strategies for fostering language development
