Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY).
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within a school environment.
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Adaptability and a growth mindset to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to design individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to each student’s needs.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans.
- Offer guidance and support for classroom staff on strategies for communication development.
