School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Albany, New York

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to serve students in grades Kindergarten through 5th for a contract position. The role runs from ASAP through June, giving you the chance to make a meaningful impact during the school year.
You will work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, from 7:45am to 2:45pm. Each day you’ll provide up to 9 individual or group sessions, with a built-in lunch break and two planning periods. Caseload assignment is dependent on school scheduling and needs, giving you the opportunity to maintain focused support for each student.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license for New York State
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a school setting
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language intervention to students in grades K-5
- Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports
- Develop IEP goals and participate in meetings with staff and families
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and administration
- Adapt therapy approaches for individual student needs
