Speech Language Pathologist in Aptos, CA

There are two openings—one focusing on a single-site elementary school, and the other providing support across Resource Specialist Program (RSP) and Special Day Class (SDC) caseloads.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFs encouraged to apply
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged students
- Solid grasp of AAC devices and intervention strategies for diverse learning profiles
- Strong organizational skills for managing caseload documentation and IEPs
- Collaborative spirit to work alongside teachers, resource staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and evaluations for students with speech, language, communication, and social-pragmatic needs
- Design and implement treatment plans tailored to individual education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Engage in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise for holistic student support
- Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and strategies for growth
