Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold current licensure or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Prior experience working with school-aged populations is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention practices
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ IEP goals
- Monitor students’ progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Serve as a resource for staff and parents regarding speech and language development
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing professional development
