Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid California SLP license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Strong foundation in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy to elementary students in both individual and group settings
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other educational staff
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Engage in regular communication with families to encourage progress and address concerns
