Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged children
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse learning needs
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify students in need of speech-language services
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide direct and consultative services to students and school teams
- Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in school-based speech-language pathology
