You’ll collaborate within a supportive educational setting, managing either a single-site elementary caseload or a mixed caseload that may include Resource Specialist Program (RSP) and Special Day Class (SDC) students. Qualifications sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current California SLP license or credential to provide services in school settings
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred (elementary and/or RSP/SDC caseload familiarity a plus)
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create tailored speech-language goals and interventions
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students
- Collaborate actively with teachers, specialists, and families to support educational progress
- Maintain detailed and compliant records for IEPs and progress reporting
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating therapy environment
