Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates may be considered
- Previous experience in a school environment highly valued
- Solid understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring
- Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
- Commitment to evidence-based intervention and culturally responsive practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Provide direct therapy services individually and in small groups
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop IEPs
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to support student growth across learning environments
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and engaging school culture
