Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current and valid SLP state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
  • Experience providing speech and language services in school settings
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage caseloads and complete documentation accurately
  • Professionalism, reliability, and a student-centered mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students across varied age groups
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy sessions—individual and small group
  • Maintain organized, accurate records and progress reports
  • Consult with teachers, specialists, and parents to support classroom strategies
  • Attend and actively participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Adapt therapy techniques to match students’ diverse needs and learning profiles
