Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current and valid SLP state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Experience providing speech and language services in school settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage caseloads and complete documentation accurately
- Professionalism, reliability, and a student-centered mindset
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students across varied age groups
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide direct speech and language therapy sessions—individual and small group
- Maintain organized, accurate records and progress reports
- Consult with teachers, specialists, and parents to support classroom strategies
- Attend and actively participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Adapt therapy techniques to match students’ diverse needs and learning profiles
