Qualifications and Required Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech-Language and Hearing Sciences, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a closely related field
- Eligibility for state licensure or relevant certification as required
- Strong understanding of current assessment tools and therapy strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Previous experience in an educational setting preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screening, evaluation, and diagnosis of speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and staff
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students, adapting techniques and materials as necessary
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Educate and support teachers and families regarding communication goals and strategies for success in the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to multi-disciplinary evaluations, and engage in ongoing professional development
