Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in speech-language pathology, speech-language and hearing sciences, communication sciences and disorders, or a closely related discipline
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) in speech-language pathology
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to develop rapport with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized education
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Deliver direct therapy and consultative services in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and related service professionals to ensure holistic student development
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings; provide input on student supports and progress
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state standards
- Engage with families to facilitate carryover of communication strategies outside the classroom
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where every student can achieve their communication potential
