Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in speech-language pathology, speech-language and hearing sciences, communication sciences and disorders, or a closely related field
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Minnesota
- Experience working with children and school-aged students preferred
- Strong collaboration and organizational skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes and progress documentation
- Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive services
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication skills using standardized tools and observations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve speech, language, and social communication abilities
- Maintain detailed and confidential student records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Consult with teachers, parents, and educational staff to integrate goals into daily classroom activities
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute recommendations for services
- Provide both direct and consultative services to students with a wide range of communication needs
- Facilitate small group or individual sessions as appropriate
