Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; clinical fellows (CFY) considered
- Previous school-based experience highly valued
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for eligible students
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams as required
- Educate school personnel and parents about strategies to support communication in the classroom
