Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFY candidates will be considered
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly beneficial
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapy methods to the needs of diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy sessions in both individual and group settings in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, families, and other staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and reports for compliance purposes
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
- Stay current with evidence-based practices and legal requirements in school-based SLP services
