Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Pathologist - Seneca Falls, New York
Bring your passion for speech-language pathology to a supportive educational setting working with kindergarten through sixth graders, ages 5 to 12. This full-time contract role offers you the opportunity to impact students’ communication skills in a K-6 building, working near Seneca Falls, NY. With a manageable caseload of 25-30 students, you’ll have the resources and collaboration needed to thrive, whether you are an experienced SLP or a Clinical Fellow (CFY).
What’s required for success:
- Hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active or eligible for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or in your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid license or the ability to obtain state licensure as required
- School-based experience is preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dedication to providing individualized, evidence-based therapy
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering direct speech-language therapy to students in grades K-6
- Administering assessments and documenting progress
- Participating in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Developing individualized goals and treatment plans
- Providing consultation and guidance to teachers and support staff
- Maintaining detailed records in compliance with school and state requirements
