Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Pathologist - Schenectady, New York

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though CFY candidates are welcome to apply
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- School-based or pediatric experience is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions individually and in group settings
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to support student progress
- Develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, monitor progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Maintain thorough records and ensure compliance with all local and federal guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, professional development, and school initiatives as needed
