Step into a dynamic role providing essential speech and language therapy services to children in grades PK-5th. This contract opportunity invites passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) dedicated to positively impacting young learners through their specialized skills in pediatrics and school-based therapy.
Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with workdays running from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm (7.75 hours daily, plus a 30-minute duty-free lunch), totaling 38.75 hours per week. Serve as a crucial resource within a collaborative, supportive educational environment, helping students reach their communication goals.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also considered
- Direct experience in pediatric and school-based settings, particularly with PK-5th grade
- Skilled in therapy planning, intervention, and progress documentation
- Committed to working independently—additional SLP Assistants are not being considered for this opening
- Strong ability to collaborate with parents, teachers, and allied professionals
Daily Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of elementary age students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ needs
- Maintain accurate records for student progress and regulatory compliance
- Communicate effectively with families and school staff to support student success
- Participate in school meetings and provide consultation as needed
