Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Pathologist | Pittsburg, California

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Current SLP state license
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop individualized treatment and intervention plans based on IEPs
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and small group
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Educate students and staff on speech and language strategies
- Utilize a range of resources and assistive technologies as needed
