Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- California licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience delivering therapy in educational or pediatric settings
- Ability to develop and implement effective IEPs
- Proficient in providing both individual and group sessions
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassion for students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students to identify speech and language disorders
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress and participate in evaluation meetings
- Deliver evidence-based intervention targeting expressive/receptive language, articulation, fluency, or social pragmatic skills
- Educate and provide resources to families and staff
- Maintain accurate, timely records as required by school and state guidelines
