Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
- Background in pediatric speech therapy, preferably within school settings
- Experience supporting PK-5th grade populations
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Please note: SLPAs are not being considered for this position
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students, including assessments, interventions, and consultations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with educators and families
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation for IEP meetings and progress tracking
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education teams to support student success
- Participate in school-wide activities, professional development, and staff meetings as required
- Participate in multidisciplinary evaluations and provide recommendations
Position Details:
- Full-time contract; 7.75-hour workdays (7:45am-4:30pm) with a 30-minute duty-free lunch
- 38.75 hours per week, with holidays unpaid
- In-person services only; no teletherapy options
- Start date: August 10
