What we're seeking:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- School-based and pediatric caseload experience highly preferred
- Background in therapy for diverse communication and language needs
- Strong documentation and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Commitment to meeting the unique needs of PreK-5th grade students
- Please note: We are not considering Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for this position
Key responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic intervention for communication disorders in children ages PreK through 5th grade
- Develop individualized treatment plans and implement evidence-based therapy sessions
- Collect and maintain accurate documentation for student progress, IEP meetings, and compliance requirements
- Serve as a resource to classroom teachers and staff to support language-rich classroom environments
- Participate actively in team meetings, parent communications, and ongoing program development
You'll work a consistent 7.75-hour day (with a 30-minute duty-free lunch), from 7:45am to 4:30pm, totaling 38.75 hours each week. While holidays are unpaid, you'll benefit from a predictable daytime schedule that leaves your evenings free.
