Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Vallejo, California
Step into an impactful role supporting young learners as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist, specializing in pediatric therapy for a vibrant PreK–5th grade school community. You will work a consistent schedule of 7.75 hours per day, plus a 30-minute duty-free lunch, from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm, totaling 38.75 hours each week. Your days will focus on delivering therapy, collaborating with a dedicated team, and helping students find their voices.
Ideal Background:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP–CCC)
- Experience or interest working in pediatric and school-based settings
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) SLPs with relevant training
- Strong skills in evaluating, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for communication disorders
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive environments for children
- Proficiency with IEP development and implementation
- Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and other specialists
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to children in PreK through 5th grade
- Assess speech, language, and communication abilities and track student progress
- Develop and deliver individualized programs tailored to student needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP documentation
- Communicate effectively with families and faculty to support students' ongoing growth
This position is specifically for a credentialed SLP; the school is unable to accommodate additional SLP Assistants at this time.
