Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist - Madera, California

Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric therapy within a hospital setting
- Knowledge of evaluation and therapy techniques for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children
- Effective communication and clinical documentation skills
- Compassion, adaptability, and strong teamwork ethic
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients
- Deliver evidence-based speech, language, and swallowing therapy in both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings
- Collaborate closely with physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and families to ensure integrated care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and patient progress in accordance with hospital policies
- Educate families and caregivers about therapeutic interventions and at-home support strategies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to pediatric care planning
