We are seeking two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to fill immediate needs: one to cover a pre-kindergarten maternity leave and another to work with elementary students (grades K–6) managing a caseload of approximately 55 students. Both positions run on a contract basis, offering engaging opportunities to collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams and help students develop vital communication skills.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, including work with PreK and/or K–6 populations preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Ability to develop and adapt therapy plans to fit a diverse caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments of students’ speech-language needs
- Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) tailored to each student
- Provide direct therapy and consultation services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support personnel to support student academic and social success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
