Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for Michigan (ASHA CCC is highly preferred)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is desirable
- Strong communication and organization abilities
- Compassion, patience, and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations
What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for assigned students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, administrators, and families to deliver integrated support
- Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide direct therapy and intervention as outlined in student plans
- Offer guidance and resources to educators and families
