Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-6th grade students in a vibrant charter school setting. In this full-time role (37.5 hours per week), you’ll collaborate with a dedicated para to deliver speech-language services to a diverse caseload. Starting as soon as possible through mid-June 2026, you’ll foster communication success and growth for 13 students per day, including those who are nonverbal, autistic, or have higher support needs. This role offers a blend of traditional speech and students for whom speech is a secondary disability.
Key Qualifications:
- Current CCC-SLP status
- PA Teaching Certificate and all Pennsylvania Clearances
- Strong track record supporting students in a school setting, with preference for candidates experienced in virtual service delivery
- Familiarity with the EdPlan IEP system
- Ability to engage students consistently and flexibly, adapting communication strategies as needed
- Effective communicator and reliable collaborator, with proficiency in working alongside paraprofessionals
- Must have a passed technology screen and clinical exception, if required
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and individualized speech and language services, following IEP goals, to a consistent K-6 student caseload
- Support a mix of speech-only students and those for whom speech is a secondary disability, including higher-needs, nonverbal, and ASD students
- Use EdPlan IEP system for documentation and service planning
- Conduct quarterly progress monitoring, with no early pull-out required prior to writing updates
- Collaborate with school staff and paraprofessionals to maximize student support and participation
- Maintain compliance with school processes—note: No Medicaid billing required
