Make a meaningful impact on early childhood education as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in the Harrisburg, Perry County, and Upper Dauphin regions. This full-time contract opportunity offers 35 hours per week within a supportive Early Childhood program, working closely with a diverse group of young learners and dedicated educational teams. With a manageable caseload of 45 students, you’ll have the chance to deliver individualized and group speech/language interventions while actively shaping students’ communication skills during these foundational years.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- State SLP license (or eligibility) in Pennsylvania
- Previous experience in a school or Early Childhood setting welcomed
- Strong assessment, therapy, and documentation abilities
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Experienced SLPA candidates will also be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to early learners in both individual and small group formats
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs and treatment plans in partnership with educators and families
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students’ needs and progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, aides, and other support staff
- Maintain timely, accurate records and contribute to ongoing program development
- Participate in IEP meetings and family conferences as required
