In this full-time role, you’ll contribute 35 hours per week as part of an Early Childhood program, managing a diverse caseload of approximately 45 students. Your expertise will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and delivering thoughtful interventions for children with speech and language needs. Experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistants are also encouraged to apply and will be considered for these positions.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid SLP license (SLP-CCC preferred); will also consider experienced SLPAs
- Strong foundation in early childhood development, articulation, and language disorders
- Prior exposure to school-based or pediatric settings a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and set student goals
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, educational staff, and families to promote communication strategies
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation for compliance
- Participate actively in team meetings and professional development
