Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Current state licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience in hospital, acute care, or school settings highly valued
- Strong knowledge of standardized testing, individualized treatment planning, and documentation protocols
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective family and multidisciplinary team collaboration
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, formulate measurable goals, and implement tailored therapy interventions for children and adults
- Document care accurately and promptly according to hospital and school standards and regulatory requirements
- Provide consultation and education for families, caregivers, and professionals to facilitate optimal care and generalization of skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team rounds as appropriate
- Maintain compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards related to patient care and privacy
- Contribute to discharge planning and make recommendations for continued services or supports as needed
