Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of hospital-based SLP experience
- Active California SLP license required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient-care skills
- Ability to function smoothly within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Provide direct therapy services and ongoing assessment
- Document patient progress and update treatment plans in accordance with hospital protocols
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, progress, and at-home strategies
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals for optimal patient outcomes
