An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services in both hospital and school settings. This contract role offers a chance to work closely with students and staff, making a positive impact throughout the academic year.
Key Details:
- Schedule: 35 hours per week
- Grant Elementary: September 26th through after Thanksgiving Break (Nov. 20th)
- Stanford Middle School: December 16th through the end of the school year (June)
Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Minimum of one year of experience in a school setting as an SLP
- Experience providing therapy in both hospital and educational environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Organized, flexible, and able to adapt to new settings
- Passion for supporting students’ development and educational success
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals and individual student needs
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families for integrated support
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Attend relevant meetings and provide professional input for student planning
