School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - New Bedford, MA

Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA licensure for the state
- Experience supporting speech and language services in schools (preferred)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Able to implement speech and language intervention plans under the direction of a licensed SLP
- Comfortable working with elementary through high school students
- Adaptable and committed to fostering student growth
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering direct therapy to students as outlined in individualized education plans (IEPs), under SLP supervision
- Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with assessments, data collection, and progress reports
- Collaborating with special education staff, teachers, and parents to ensure cohesive service delivery
- Supporting the generalization of communication skills into the classroom environment
- Participating in meetings and trainings as needed
