Qualifications & Experience:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) required
- Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is a strong plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Assist certified Speech-Language Pathologists with implementing therapy sessions and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct treatment to students following established plans and goals
- Conduct screenings, document progress, and gather data to inform instruction
- Provide support, resources, and training to classroom teachers when appropriate
- Maintain accurate session notes and adhere to school policies and procedures
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to student success
