Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLPA state licensure required
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Solid understanding of implementing therapy plans under supervision of an SLP
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and collaborate with teachers and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing speech and language therapy services to students as guided by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Follow documented treatment plans and therapy techniques to help students achieve targeted communication goals
- Collect and maintain accurate student data and session reporting
- Support administrative tasks as needed for program efficiency
- Participate in team meetings with educational staff and contribute insights to best aid student progress
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere for every student
