There are no students using assistive technology devices, allowing you to dedicate your expertise to meaningful, hands-on speech and language interventions in daily school life.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid SLPA license or certification
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong skills in articulation and pragmatic language intervention
- Proactive communicator and team collaborator
- Commitment to following IEP goals and documenting student progress accurately
- Positive attitude and flexibility in an educational environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Work with students individually and in small groups to support their articulation and pragmatic language goals
- Collect data, maintain accurate documentation, and report on each student’s progress
- Collaborate with teaching staff, families, and other educational team members
- Contribute to IEP meetings as needed and assist in the planning and adjustment of student interventions
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning space
The contract covers 5 days per week, providing a predictable and steady schedule for the school year. You’ll have the opportunity to engage students across age groups, fine-tune your clinical skills, and witness their growth first-hand within a supportive school setting.
