Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current, active California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license
- Experience in elementary school settings preferred
- Familiarity with both school-based and healthcare therapy approaches
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, speech-language pathologists, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech therapy services to elementary students with a variety of communication needs
- Support implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) under SLP supervision
- Prepare therapy materials and document student progress
- Engage with school staff and families to facilitate optimal learning environments
- Work at two elementary campuses within a supportive district
