A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide specialized services at the middle school level in Sandy, OR. This role involves managing a caseload of approximately 10 students while directly serving around 20 students under speech, communication, and autism-related services within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver individualized therapy to students with speech, communication, and autism spectrum disorders.
  • Manage caseload and maintain accurate documentation aligned with district and state regulations.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Utilize teletherapy techniques as needed to enhance service delivery.
  • Participate in part-time (20 hours per week) itinerant service provision across multiple school locations.
  • Engage in required team meetings and complete administrative duties, with paid indirect hours.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Oregon SLP licensure required.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings.
  • Familiarity with speech-language pathology in school environments, particularly with autism and communication disabilities.
  • Competence in teletherapy platforms and processes.
  • Ability to manage caseloads and conduct case management efficiently.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of relevant IEP systems and compliance with school district requirements.
  • Willingness to travel between assigned schools within the district.

Additional Information: This contract covers the full school year and offers a supportive educational environment with dedicated therapy spaces. Training on district-specific systems and protocols is provided to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
