School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Chowchilla, CA

Make an impact in the school setting as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) on a full-time, full school year contract supporting elementary students from transitional kindergarten through fifth grade. Work closely with a collaborative virtual SLP supervisor dedicated to creating a positive, productive partnership—candidates will have the opportunity to connect with the SLP before placement to ensure this is the right fit for both sides.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 months’ experience as an SLPA, ideally in a school environment
- Active California SLPA license required
- Comfort and confidence working with a diverse elementary caseload (TK–5)
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates encouraged to apply, but it’s not required
- Strong communication skills, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting
Role Responsibilities:
- Implement prescribed therapy sessions and intervention plans under SLP supervision
- Collect data and track student progress toward IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and your SLP supervisor to support student success
- Assist in preparing materials and adapting activities for individualized student needs
- Maintain documentation for compliance with education and licensure requirements
