Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Oakland, CA

Qualifications and Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Valid California SLPA licensure or eligibility for licensure
- School-based experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to student growth and inclusivity
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapeutic activities as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Support students in developing language, articulation, fluency, and social communication skills
- Collect data to monitor student progress and assist with documentation
- Prepare materials and resources for therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to generalize skills in the educational setting
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
