Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Fremont, CA

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in California.
- Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and other staff.
- Proficient in time management, organization, and accurate documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Conduct speech and language screenings as needed.
- Maintain ongoing communication with educators and families.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
