This full-time, full school year contract opportunity is tailored for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) eager to serve elementary-aged children (TK-5), providing essential services alongside an enthusiastic and collaborative supervising SLP—supervision is provided virtually, with a focus on strong rapport and teamwork.
Your responsibilities will revolve around implementing therapy plans, collaborating with colleagues, and diligently tracking student progress. The caseload consists of elementary students, fostering a supportive and energetic working environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active California SLPA license in good standing
- Minimum of three months of recent experience as an SLPA, preferably in a school setting
- Positive attitude and strong commitment to helping young learners make communication gains
- Able to thrive in a collaborative, supervised setting under an engaged SLP
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus, though not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out individualized and group speech-language therapy, following established IEPs under the guidance of the supervising SLP
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Participate in virtual check-ins and professional development as a valued team member
