Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active California SLPA license
- Bring a minimum of 3 months of SLPA experience, preferably in an educational setting
- Bilingual Spanish skills are highly valued, though not required
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and colleagues
- Enthusiastic about working with a diverse elementary school population and adapting to their unique needs
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver services to an elementary caseload (TK-5) under the dedicated guidance of an experienced SLP
- Support students in developing communication, language, and social skills in alignment with IEPs
- Implement activities and interventions as prescribed by the supervising SLP
- Document progress and maintain session notes, ensuring compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators, caregivers, and service providers
- Demonstrate flexibility, creative problem-solving, and an eagerness to learn in a dynamic school environment
