School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Kerman, California

Support communication development as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a dynamic and welcoming educational setting near Kerman, CA. You’ll be working Full-Time during the Full School Year (FSY) with a diverse caseload of TK-5th grade students at the elementary level.
Collaboration is at the heart of this assignment. You’ll receive guidance from an experienced and supportive supervising Speech-Language Pathologist via teletherapy, ensuring mentorship and teamwork every step of the way. Prior to placement, you’ll have a chance to connect with your SLP supervisor to ensure a great working dynamic.
Qualifications:
- Active and valid California SLPA license required
- At least 3 months prior experience as an SLPA in a school setting
- Comfort working with elementary students (TK-5)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Bilingual Spanish abilities preferred, though not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language intervention under SLP supervision
- Follow student treatment plans and collect data on progress
- Support classroom teams by providing communication strategies
- Document student performance and maintain up-to-date records
- Participate in ongoing collaboration and supervision via virtual meetings
