ProCare Therapy is actively seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, 5-week school-based assignment in Mercer Island, Washington.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SLPA who can confidently step into a school setting, support students' communication needs, and contribute to their progress during a short-term assignment.
Position Details
Location: Mercer Island, WA 98040
Position: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Schedule: Full-Time
Contract Duration: 5 Weeks
Setting: School-Based
Responsibilities
Provide speech and language therapy support under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
Implement established treatment plans and IEP goals.
Assist students in developing speech, language, and communication skills.
Track student progress and maintain accurate service documentation.
Collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and school staff.
Qualifications
Active Washington State SLPA credentials.
Prior SLPA experience required.
Previous school-based experience strongly preferred.
Familiarity with IEPs and speech therapy interventions.
Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to a short-term school assignment.
