School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Lakewood, Washington

Key Qualifications:
- WA SLPA license required (or willingness to obtain); must comply with OSPI fingerprinting requirements
- Experience with middle school-aged students preferred, but not required—enthusiasm for working in this setting is important
- Strong collaboration skills to support students under the guidance of a virtual SLP
- Excellent organizational abilities managing caseloads and documentation
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services as assigned by the supervising virtual SLP
- Implement therapy plans and activities aligned with established IEPs
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Offer support to teachers and staff regarding students’ speech and language needs
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and training as required
This contract position offers a consistent weekly schedule of 32.5 hours and allows you to expand your professional skills in a supportive school community during the academic year.
