Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Federal Way, WA

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to provide onsite support in collaboration with a virtual Speech-Language Pathologist for a middle school caseload during the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position runs until June 23, 2027, offering the opportunity to work closely with a team focused on student success.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Washington SLPA license (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
- OSPI fingerprint clearance, or willingness to complete the process
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with middle school-aged students preferred, but not required
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of 35-40 students
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language interventions under the supervision and guidance of a certified, virtual SLP
- Support students’ communication goals and document progress
- Prepare materials and activities aligned with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to promote a positive learning environment
- Maintain confidential records in compliance with district and legal requirements
